Let me paint you a grim picture of my TikTok and Instagram.

I spent months planning and creating content for the faceless Instagram for my book series, 1 Lovelock Drive.

I posted hundreds of videos, fine-tuned the captions, and spent countless hours perfecting my content.

I invested hundreds of dollars buying bulk stock videos to accompany my captions.

I also spent hours putting the videos together, which, as a writer, was outside my natural skill set.

What was all of this for?

To run a faceless account where the content could speak for itself. I would create videos where the stories from my book become the showpiece. I would take my personality out of the equation and let my book speak for itself.

Below is the type of content I posted.
